About Fix My Financials

Most of us have faced some new challenges in this tough economy.  After facing lay-offs from a pretty large lender, a group of friends in the Phoenix area quickly learned we had a lot of work ahead of us. We went from being financially secure, to stressing about keeping our houses and feeding our families. We learned a lot about optimizing expenses, fixing up our debt, what happens to your credit when things don’t go right, and related financial matters.  Then we thought “maybe we could help others who faced similar challenges.”

So we decided to develop this website.

I hope our resources find you well.  We realize the topic of our site is not something people like to talk about, so we would like to provide resources for you to research, present options (both free information and paid services) that are aimed at helping people like us.  People who have been hit hardest by the economy.
